Client Reviews = More Leads

It should come as no surprise that people rely heavily on online reviews. Online reviews elicits trust from consumers and they will most certainly look into your reviews for reassurance that you’re the right agent for them. Along with the rest of your online marketing routine it is a good idea to encourage past clients to write positive reviews about you and their experience while monitoring your online review presence throughout the internet.

If consumers are ready to buy or sell, real estate specific websites like Trulia, Zillow and Realtor.com are great starting points to do their investigating. These sites are laid out deliberately to give reviews a prominent spot on an Agent’s profile page, plus they make it easier than ever to compose and read reviews. Also spend time perusing other online review outlets such as Yelp and AngiesList. These sites are frequently used and trusted so it’s best to establish your presence in these places so consumers can find you faster.

Take things one step further and be sure you have positive comments on Google Reviews. Google Places (now apart of Google My Business) is where you can give internet searchers all the information about your business; phone number, address, map location, website and it is in this spot that you can connect Google Reviews. Online traffic finding your business organically may not have thought they wanted to see reviews but now they have the chance without switching gears and checking out other sites. Plus, if SEO is a concern for you, having Google Reviews linked to your Google My Business is a tactic.

Getting online reviews is a little different than just asking for a testimonial. Online reviews usually require the author of the review to create an account on each specific website. Make the process as easy as possible for your clients by providing links and instructions on how to complete the review. Let them know how much you’d appreciate their feedback and attempt to receive the review just around the time of the closing. A thank you card with a useful coupon or gift card is a nice incentive for their time and kind words.
